Next to the right bank of the river and in the heart of the complex, are the municipal swimming pools, one of 25 x 13 metres with an average depth of 1,70 cm and another for the children with a dimension of 13 x 13 metres and an average depth of 0,40 metres.

This swimming pools are open from June, 1st to end of September, and are open from 12:00AM - 09:00PM.

The swimming pools use is free.

Behind the coffee-bar, is a recently renovated games area for the young ones.

This playground is free and is open all day.

Next to our cafe-bar, you can enjoy a wonderful tennis court which is free of charge.

Throughout this area and under the shades of birch trees, oaks and other species of trees we have many stone tables of different sizes, with wonderful barbecues, where visitors prepare their splendid barbecues.

This is the most genuine setting in the complex. For years people from all over Galicia have been coming to spend the day with the family, from early in the morning until suppertime, to enjoy this wonderful natural setting.

The enclosure has an ample parking for cars and buses.

From the summer of 2002 the city council of Monterroso created, on the perimeter of the enclosure, a new very well signposted car park with capacity for 300 cars.

In the upper part of the right interfluvio of La Peneda, there is a building of 100 square metres, with an outer terrace and solarium, where you can enjoy a drink and cuisine typical of the region.

The coffee-bar is open daily from 9 a.m. until 1 a.m. from the 4th of March until the camp site closes for the season at the end of September.

For lovers of live singing, the coffee-bar of A Peneda, becomes a session pub on warm summer nights, where as well as enjoying a drink on the terrace, you can sing along to karaoke with 1000 songs of all eras and styles, in English and Spanish and enjoy the best music in a calm atmosphere.

At the south western entrance to the site, there is a small kiosk selling ice cream and other products.

The opening hours are the same as the cafe-bar.

In the municipal camp site of Monterroso we offer a bicycle rental service for those wanting to cycle in the surrounding area or to ride the hiking route of Pena do corvo.
